Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-10-13

These terms apply to the GenMind™ mobile app and the services behind it ("GenMind"), provided by Mindsigns Health™ Inc. ("Mindsigns Health", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using GenMind, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use GenMind.

Who can use GenMind

GenMind is available by invitation only, from a care provider or a research study that works with us (your "organization"). You sign up with the invitation code they give you. You must be at least 18 years old.

If you take part in a research study, the consent form you signed with the study team also applies to you. Where the consent form and these terms differ, the consent form prevails.

What GenMind is, and what it is not

GenMind helps you record how you feel and how you are doing, through short questionnaires, voice notes, memory and attention tasks, and balance and pulse recordings. Your organization uses this information to follow your well-being over time.

GenMind is not an emergency service. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any disease, and it does not replace the advice of a health professional. Your answers are not monitored around the clock.

If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, United States), call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details private and your phone locked. Tell us or your organization if you think someone else has used your account. Please answer as accurately as you can: your organization relies on what you enter.

Acceptable use

When you use GenMind, you agree not to:

Your information

How we collect, use, share and protect your information is described in our Privacy Policy and on How your data is stored and kept secure.

You keep the rights you have in the information you enter. You allow us to use it as described in the Privacy Policy.

Our app

The app, its content and its software belong to Mindsigns Health or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for the purpose your organization invited you for, for as long as your account is open.

We improve GenMind regularly. We may change or remove features, and the service may be briefly unavailable during maintenance. Test versions of the app, such as those distributed through TestFlight, may contain errors.

Ending your use

You can stop using GenMind at any time. To close your account or ask for your information to be deleted, contact your organization or write to us at information@mindsignshealth.com.

Your organization or we may close your account when your study or your care with the organization ends, or if these terms are not respected.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

GenMind is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mindsigns Health disclaims all warranties not expressly stated in these terms, and is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of GenMind. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States.

Changes to these terms

If we make a material change to these terms, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
